The updated runtime module can be downloaded in two ways: as a single file, or as two separate files. The difference is whether you want to update the program as installed or if you want to update the files as they exist on the installation diskettes. If you have already installed a Datachem Software product and you only want to improve the way it runs without reinstalling, use the one-part file download. If you have a Datachem Software product and you want to upgrade the runtime module on future installations, use the two-part file download.
Detailed Description: Under some versions/builds of Windows NT, problems executing Datachem Software products may occur. Upgrading the runtime module for the Datachem Software product goes a long way toward alleviating these problems. The most common manifestation of these errors is the dreaded "WinSFX error" that appears as the program is starting.
To Apply The Patch: Decide which download you want to perform. Click the appropriate link in the table below and follow the instructions in the selected section. Please note that in both cases only one file is actually downloaded.
| As a single file: use this one if you want to replace the VFP300.ESL already installed on your system. | As a 2-part file: use this one if you are trying to replace the files on the original installation diskettes. |
